Beaches in Fiji belong to the most beautiful in the world and are scattered throughout the archipelago, some located on tiny islets, others in remote holiday spots surrounded by tropical rain forest. Some tourists think that the main island of archipelago - Viti Levu - has to few beaches. In fact, holiday makers who explore the coastline find a lot of truly wonderful beaches, from which Natadola and Cuvu belong to the bests in the country! On the northern coast of the island are also several awesome marine areas. Shores along the Coral Coast, in the southern part, offer splendid views, but most allow less water activities and have poorer swimming conditions, especially at low tide when the water is very shallow.

Mamanuca Islands

The Mamanuca archipelago comprises about 20 larger islands, mostly with secluded beaches. Situated off the coast of Nadi and accessible by boat or plane, this chain is one of the top tourist spots in Fiji and most islands feature a resort, so the white-sand beaches are great because are cleaned by the hotel's staff each morning.
All hotels feature cocktail bars and lots of water activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, cruise tours, parasailing, fishing, and others. Beside the larger islands, there are also several tiny coral islets that can be visited on a day cruise from Nadi.

Yasawa Islands

The Yasawa chain is an archipelago of volcanic islands and features some of the best beaches in Fiji! There are over 20 islands (the closest can be reached by ferry in 2 hours from Nadi), with several resorts where can be spent amazing beach vacations. The beaches from Yasawas are also main destinations on the itinerary of the luxury night cruises.

Southern Islands

Vatulele island has some excellent white-sand beaches with secluded tropical surroundings. Kadavu and Beqa have rugged coastlines, still there are several great beach resorts. This islands are renowned for activities such as scuba diving, fishing, and surfing.

Northern Islands

This islands have a few very attractive beaches settled in front of lush tropical rain forests, particularly on islands of Matangi and Qamea and onto several small island luxury resorts off Vanua Levu. The larger islands - Taveuni and Vanua Levu - feature very good beaches and there are several areas where can be practiced numerous vacation activities.

Lomaiviti Islands

Ovalau, the main tourism center in the Lomaiviti archipelago, doesn't feature too many great beaches. Still, off Ovalau are a few small islands with very attractive shores and resorts, from which perhaps the best are islands of Toberua and Caqalai. Most of the other islands in this archipelago have secluded beaches and very few offer classy accommodation and good amenities for enjoying a great beach vacation in Fiji.
